Jakpro Requires Additional Capital

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) requires additional capital to complete the construction of the Light Rail Transit (LRT), Velodrome and Equestrian Park. Hence, they request the government investment (PMP) to be increased.

For this year, we will get Rp 1.95 trillion. We hope the amount could be added up to Rp 1 trillion thus we would get Rp 2.95 trillion

PT Jakpro Director, Satya Heragandhi disclosed, last year, his party received PMP amounting to Rp 1 trillion. But the fund was used to conduct down payment (DP) in continuation of ongoing projects.

"Even, the absorption reached Rp 1.2 trillion. For this year, we will get Rp 1.95 trillion. We hope the amount could be added up to Rp 1 trillion thus we would get Rp 2.95 trillion," he stated, Tuesday (1/17).

Jakpro PMP Focused on LRT

He explained, this year's APBD, his side is going to propose additional PMP. This is because, in overall, the three projects construction requires Rp 6.8 trillion, with allocation the highest allocation of LRT construction more than Rp 5 trillion.

"Our needs for next year's payment is about Rp 2 trillion," he expressed.

As an alternative, his side will be preparing loaning cooperative action. As an illustration, with the asset value of Rp 7-10 trillion, bank loaning can be realized up to Rp 20 trillion.

"Because we need to smoothen the project in 2017 and 2018. We'll see on the market which is the most expensive," he expressed.

In the meantime, Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono justified that Jakpro required additional capital to complete the three strategic projects. Later on, it will be proposed through this year's Amendment APBD and next year's APBD.

"Or it can be through cooperative action. For companies, I think the action is common," he finished.
